HI!
I am selling my Ryan Adams ticket. Because weddings are incredibly expensive and every little helps. Ticket is Row D, seat 29. £35 posted. Anyone?

Dear 2011...
Who are you? Two thousand and eleven? Twenty eleven? I don’t know. 2010 was two thousand and ten. 2012 will be twenty twelve according to the Olympics. I guess the transition is halfway between the two. Therefore, 2011, you shall be two thousand and eleven until June. After that you will be renamed to twenty eleven. It’s only fair.

Oh my.
Has it really been over 2 months since I last posted anything? Turns out back in July, when I last posted… I was a few weeks pregnant! We’d been trying but I had nooo idea it’d happened at that point. Now that I’m over 3 months gone, I’m feeling much more comfortable with telling people and getting excited and even buying things. A week and a half ago, we saw hands...

This week I have had INCREDIBLY vivid and bizarre dreams. 2 of them involving Ryan Adams. (Neither of these dreams were of a sexual nature). Another dream, my fiancé convinced me that you can only get £2 coins of you orgasm. And you can only spend those £2 in the Co-Op, nowhere else. TMI? Can’t help it, sorry. But this one… this one I liked. Me and Keith were lying in this barn. Which...

Best day of my life. Ever.
Last night, after work, Keith took me out. He didn’t want me to know where we were going until we got there, so he made me choose a scarf (I picked my keyboard one) and I was blindfolded with it. He drove to our destination going right around the houses so I couldn’t guess where we were. We arrived at our destination and he led me out of the car, onto the pavement and sat me down. At...

Dear Nostalgia,
You baffle my head and my heart. You make me happy but also sad. I think I like it.

I can hear
His snoring - yes I’m disappointed that his allergies mean he’s had to go straight to sleep without my cuddle but the sound of him sleeping is sorta comforting. Nights without it are too strange and quiet and uncomfortable. Tapping on my window - thank god for the rain. The usual Friday night ravers are taking shelter in the pubs and clubs instead of loitering, fighting, shouting...

Last night I dreamt that I had a baby. And my purple sunglasses multiplied so I’d never have to buy another pair again.

Oh my god.
I just ate about 9 Viscounts in a row. Fat cow. With a belly full of awesome.

ohno!
Last night I dreamt that my colleague sacked me. I left, then ran to my manager begging to go back. She said “sorry no jobs left” and then everyone was made redundant. And the office was demolished with all our stuff still in it. And all our stuff was dug out all wrecked and horrid and moved to a rickety old house. Where we could go up windy staircases, search through the rooms and...

Fools Day
And here’s to another successful Record Store Day. I did not go into London. I saw no live acts. And I did not get as many free goodies as I did last year. But I got the brand new ltd singles by Blur, The Beatles and the Rolling Stones amongst other things. It was a glorious but quiet affair in Bromley. As a one-off it was lovely to experience the community spirit alive and kicking...

What I Did With My Lunchbreak Today.
There’s an odds n sods shop on Lowfield Street. My uncle works there. They had a box of records outside so I flicked through. Not knowing if the box actually belonged to the shop or not I walked in. I looked my uncle in the eye and asked him. “Are those records yours?” He said yeah. Then he turned around and walked off. Without any clue that he’d just spoken to his eldest...
